Every ALCOM ice shack is built with our signature all-aluminum construction. Available in sizes from 4' x 6' to 8' x 12', each ice shack has custom rolled galvanized skis and a spring-loaded tow hitch for easy transport across the ice. They all have standard water-resistant decking, screwless bonded side panels, and a roof vent. Three windows and a side door with paddle handle make it easy to access the shack and let natural light inside.

But if you enjoy attending to every detail, or specialize in DIY success stories, or need to stretch a budget, almost anything on the ALCOM options list can be translated into a do-it-yourself upgrade project. Think flooring, power, insulation, or cabinets. From there, what else do you want to add? 
• Lights: Strings, bulbs, domes, or that old floor lamp that used to be in your college dorm room. Light up the ice shack's interior however you choose once your power supply is safely connected.  
  
• Seating: Choose portable folding chairs, custom-built storage benches, hand-me-down loveseats rescued from Grandma's garage, or whatever else you can fit through the ice shack door. A table  
• Electronics: Charge a phone, plug in a speaker, brew a cup of coffee or watch the game-- once your ice shack is powered up, as long as you have WiFi or a decent cell connection, you can stay connected on the ice. 
• Heating: Ventilation, proper installation, and smoke/carbon monoxide detection are crucial considerations if you add a heat source to an ice shack. Don't try this one without doing your research, and call a friend or a local pro if you need a hand!
